          I broke my ankle and with surgery it's taken me three months to free myself from casts, crutches, boots etc. It's summer and I wanted to use my pool but the little aluminum ladder was too unstable for me to safely use with a weak ankle. I bought this ladder and, although it is made for a higher pool (54", I think) it works fine on my 48" pool.
