Customer Q & A

Q1: Can the deck mount basketball set be removed with the hole covered up for more formal gatherings?

A: Yes, the set does come with a finishing cap to cover the hole.

Q2: What is the diameter of the pole?

A: The pole is 2.375-inch diameter.

Q3: What distance you should put from the pool edge to the post hole?

A: We recommend to leave 8 inches from the pool edge to the post hole.

Q4: What size does the hole need to be for the pole?  Is this going to work around a salt water pool and not cause rusting?

A: The pole diameter is 2.375 inches, so the hole would need to be slightly larger than that.  Per a call to the supplier, you would want to buy a brass anchor to go near salt water, and the rim will rust after time since it is stainless steel.
